Survived By: Husband Jack DeGuire (since has passed away, April 17, 2007), daughter, Stephanie (passed away October,  16, 2004, after her mother of Cystic Fibrosis) and son Christopher (who also has Cystic Fibrosis)

Carol had a difficult life. She had arthritis and had to take lots of medications which probably helped lead to an early death. Both her children were very ill and she cared for them very diligently. She was a book editor and lived in St. Louis all her life.
